Consistent color improves profitability. Inconsistencies can occur between customer specification and final production, and between batches. Customers demand a consistent color, and to achieve a convincing presence in a saturated market, they use more metallic finishes, special effects and textures to make their products stand out. These materials and finishes add value to the products and packaging. But they are also more expensive, which requires that there is a management of color consistency and an effective quality control program to reduce waste and reprocessing work.

The large high resolution color screen of the Ci64, Graphical Jobs ™ interface and configurable menus allow users to quickly and easily understand color measurement procedures, provide consistency in measurement processes and quickly view data from the measurement. The flip mechanism of the Ci64 adds flexibility and facilitates the measurement of hard-to-reach areas. In addition, a simple lock button ensures the absence of errors during quality checks. The ultraviolet option is added if the samples include optical brightening agents.

The Ci64 is available in three models. All three are compatible with simultaneous SPIN / SPEX measurements and correlated brightness measurements and have built-in NetProfiler support. Choose between:

The Ci64 with variable measuring openings of 4 mm and 8 mm;
The Ci64L, with a measuring aperture of 14 mm to measure larger samples; or
The Ci64UV with variable measuring apertures of 4 mm and 8 mm and tungsten lighting and ultraviolet LED.
A remote trigger of measurements allows operators to initiate hands-free measurements. USB and Bluetooth connectivity ** are available.
