The Shore Hardness Tester thin probe with small foot Ø 8 mm is used to measure inaccessible places or uneven surfaces. Shore Hardness Tester was developed to measure the hardness of rubber, plastics , rubber materials, textiles, printing rollers , etc. . All models are factory calibrated ( according to ASTM D 2240 / surface support Ø 8 mm ) . Wherever possible , the thickness of material to be tested should be greater than 6 mm . If it is lower , the test material should be strengthened on the back of the same material , thereby increasing the thickness .
