Dewpoint Meter Positector DPM IR

The PosiTector DPM IR includes the ambient temperature and humidity sensors of PosiTector DPM Integral Probe plus an infrared surface temperature sensor.

The infrared sensor does not require contact with the surface, so inspection of large areas is quick and easy. The 4: 1 ratio of distance to the point will average the temperature over a larger area, which makes it ideal for scanning large structures quickly.

Measures and records environmental conditions, including relative humidity, air temperature, surface temperature, dew point temperature, difference between surface temperatures and dew point temperatures.

This new dew point meter PosiTector DPM IR provides a new level of confidence to the contractor and inspector of paintings. Measure and record the climatic parameters including temperature, the surface temperature, the dew point temperature and the difference between surface temperature and the dew point, which is critical in determining the likelihood of condensation. The thermo-hygrometer is ideal for surface preparation as required by ISO 8502-4,ASTM D 3276 y BS 7079-B4.
